Wire Copper Tape
The annealed copper tape shall be coated with an adequate rust-preventive agent on the premise that the tape will be subjected to long-term storage.
SCOPE
This standard applies to copper tape [hereinafter called the tape] used for Power wire
TYPE
Annealed copper strip. The Chemical Composition Cu. % stated below:
1. C1100R – 0 -99.90 min.
2. C1020R – 0 -99.90 min
QUALITY
The tape shall be uniform in quality, have a smooth surface and be free from such defects as split, cracks and rust, and shall satisfy the characteristics shown in Table 1.
The annealed copper tape shall be coated with an adequate rust-preventive agent on the premise that the tape will be subjected to long-term storage.

PACKING AND MARKING
The tape shall be wound round the ring as per drawing and packed in such a way as not to suffer damage during transportation, and in its easy to see part the following information shall be included. Meanwhile, when delivering the annealed copper tape, it shall be hermetically sealed with a polyethylene or vinyl chloride bag for every individual tape roll to avoid discoloration, and in that bag a silica gel bag or rust preventive paper shall be included.
