Cable Copper Tape
The annealed copper tape shall be coated with an adequate rust-preventive agent on the premise that the tape will be subjected to long-term storage.
SCOPE
This standard applies to copper tape [hereinafter called the tape] used for Power Cables.
TYPE
Annealed copper strip. The Chemical Composition Cu. % stated below:
1. C1100R – 0 -99.90 min.
2. C1020R – 0 -99.90 min
QUALITY
The tape shall be uniform in quality, have a smooth surface and be free from such defects as split, cracks and rust, and shall satisfy the characteristics shown in Table 1.
The annealed copper tape shall be coated with an adequate rust-preventive agent on the premise that the tape will be subjected to long-term storage.

CERTIFICATION
Supplier shall submit test report per batch or lot for every delivery.
