Wire Copper Foil
The annealed copper foil shall be coated with an adequate rust-preventive agent on the premise that the foil will be subjected to long-term storage.
SCOPE
This standard applies to copper foil [hereinafter called the foil] used for Power wires.
TYPE
Annealed copper foil. The Chemical Composition Cu. % stated below:
1. C1100R – 0 - 99.90 min.
2. C1020R – 0 -99.90 min
QUALITY
The foil shall be uniform in quality, have a smooth surface and be free from such defects as split, cracks and rust, and shall satisfy the characteristics shown in Table 1.
